I'd like to send you the current version of the project proposal we're working off of, but it's a bit too long to fit into this message window (they limit the number of characters in a message on this site).
Do you have an email address I can forward it to directly like I'm doing with other CP.org group leaders?
Thanks,
Marc
If you are able to make it to this meeting, that will be wonderful! If not, equally fine.
It may be too far to come at this time, but maybe another time would work for you? Our next meeting would probably be on Saturday, July 3rd, or the following Saturday.
The important thing is for there to be a start, isn't it? So we are! Then what is right will unfold and will have value ....
We are holding our FIRST STUDY GROUP MEETING here on the 12th June in Wiltshire, near Marlborough, open to anyone who would like to join in and share what they are experiencing as a result of working with Dr David Hawkins spiritual material.
Would you like to attend? Then please get in touch - we are on Page 3 of the Groups listings!
My goodness it has been sooooo long since I've last written you! I can be so terrible at keeping in touch and I apologize ever so much for such a late reply!
Please know that even though I may not show I'm thinking of you very much, I truly am! It's like loving but with no attachments to showing it in any particular way (since we know that love just is).
Yes, things are well thank you! :) Rob and I have found a cozy place... $435 a month, including everything except phone, internet and TV (and we got an awesome deal for that too!). It's become sort of like home for now. We can't yet afford a home, but perhaps one day in the near future! Eurocan, our Paper Mill here, has decided to close, leaving over 500 people unemployed and having to move and look for work elsewhere. It is a very scary thing that has affected the whole community of Kitimat, as well as surrounding areas. However, I always like to think of it as a new beginning, for there can never be endings! :) So now, all of these houses are on the market and they are quite cheap... isn't it crazy how the world works? There can be so much stress and uncertainty for some and then relief for others who need cheap homes. However, we know in our hearts that negative feelings are ego driven and temporary, lending us always to peel off the layers and find the truth and hope within all things. And... new beginnings!
You are a football writer? That sounds wonderful! :) Way to go Mark, especially for winning it through a contest! 291 people is a lot of people to compete against. And yes, writing is truly a talent. Woooot wooot! Way to go! :) *Celebratory dance* Yes, pride will always come with a success like that (and with any other success), but being able to recognize and be aware that it is egoic pride allows you just the right amount of "umph" to separate you from fuzzy wuzzy's cuddliness. It's like being able to stand back and watch from a distance and it's so freeing because you know you are not your pride or personality!
How was the October Seminar Mark?! :) I hope all is so well with you. Is there anything new? A love perhaps? Or just lots of fun times with good friends? Things are well here! I've been teaching lots lately (some in the highschool too, which is a challenge but a good one!) and also working part-time at my friend's photography studio. I've been so blessed to meet so many new and interesting people! A few are becoming really good friends, which is something that my fuzzy wuzzy likes but also that I know is healthy for me. :)
This weekend I am excited to go to a United Church conference in Vancouver with my good friend Kristy. There will be lots of spiritual prayer, singing, gathering, talks, workshops and music! It will be nice to take this journey with my friend, who is also developing her spirituality. :)
Blessings abound, and this includes you!
May God be with you always Mark! :)
Love always,
Florence

Congratulations on your new employment. I love writing too--my degree was in English--so I can see why you are venturing in to journalism, and I wish you every success. Success being the operative word for the next lecture! Have you ever thought of writing a novel? It's my dream to write a high calibrating one some day; a hero of mine is Dickens, who I find so powerful and refreshing. I think his novels calibrate at 540.
I miss China very much but every day I'm exchanging e-mails to the various teachers and students I worked with, which is cool.
Would you like to have something to eat together on Monday evening before my Mandarin lesson, which is at 7pm?
Peace,
Iain.
