Infinitely Circular

Take a circle made out of a rope, twist it at one end, and an infinity symbol appears. What was once a circle, a whole, complete, changeless, now appears to be two separate things with a division at the intersection. Duality is born from the whole by what appears to be a division but is only an illusion. What flows through the left side also flows through the right side as it was and still is the whole circle. There is no difference. Only an illusion has been created.

The State of a Devotee

The inferior devotee says, 'God exists, but He is very far off, up there in heaven.' The mediocre devotee says, 'God exists in all beings as life and consciousness.' The superior devotee says: 'It is God Himself who has become everything; whatever I see is only a form of God. It is He alone who has become maya, the universe, and all living beings. Nothing exists but God.'

-Sri Ramakrishna

How close are you to God? Can you see God in everything? And that is every thing, all… Continue

Goodwill to All

May all beings be filled with joy and peace.

May all beings everywhere,

The strong and the weak,

The great and the small,

The mean and the powerful,

The short and the long,

The subtle and the gross -

May all beings everywhere,

Seen and unseen,

Dwelling far off or nearby,

Being or waiting to become,

May all be filled with lasting joy.

Let no one deceive another,

Let no one anywhere despise another,

Let no one out… Continue

The Great Adventure

The life of a spiritual aspirant can be thought of like a mountain climber itching to climb a mountain that no one from the base can tell how high it is because its peak is covered in clouds all the time. The climber, wanting to climb this mountain so much, prepares as much as he can for the adventure. He brings everything he thinks he will need: heavy clothing, shelter, food, water, etc. He starts off on the journey on a beautiful day even though the mountain is still cloaked in clouds. He… Continue

The Recognition

There is no me,
There is no you,
What flows through me flows through you,
What flows through God flows through All,
Therefore, there is only God,
And that is All.

Hehe, that's just one of quite a few hats I like to wear. You should see me in my Australian outback hat and tan shorts, I look like crocodile dundee ;-)

Hi Willie and J :-) Was just reading your online chat there. Really resonated with me, sharing the Teaching with others. For years I've felt compelled to explain to the best of my ability the work to my mum who's really into spiritual stuff. Like you said the more I do that the less interested she is. I still find myself getting upset that she thinks Dr H has got something to prove/gain. Am realising my spiritual pride has been enjoying 'holding forth' in our conversations over the years and that I've been trying to change her.
Thanks!
Hannah
