"This group is aligned with and devoted to the teachings of David R Hawkins, MD, PhD. The intent for the group is to serve as a vehicle of Divine will, an opportunity to keep holy company, and support our advancement of consciousness in service of God and humanity."

Q: I'd like to ask how not to doubt, doubt of God.

A: Well, you do prayer and the same thing everybody does, 'Dear God, please help me to understand my relationship to Thee and Thy infinite nature." Just with prayer and supplication, and going to church or whatever devotional activities are part of your life, yes? Service to the poor or service to the sick and dying.

..yes, devotion. We have a friend now who is sick, we pray everday to God for alleviatiion of this person's illness and their recovery. And that's all we can do. Now its up to their karma. Ok? That's all we can do.

Healing

I claim my wholeness. I am healthy and strong.

In many of the healing stories in the Gospels, Jesus is quoted as saying "Your faith has made you well." Healing comes from within.

I begin healing by recognizing the Truth: I am God's perfect idea of life in expression. This is my true nature. As I attune my thoughts to this Truth, I soon begin to notice changes in my outer circumstances. I am guided to new choices in my activities and relationships. I attract people and opportunities that support my healing process. I forgive myself and others for past actions that felt hurtful. I express gratitude for my health and vitality. With faith in the healing power of Spirit within, I am restored to the wholeness I was created to express.

He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace."--Luke 8:48

"The major genuine spiritual practices include individual and group worship and prayer, including music, incense, creative arts, and dance, as wll as symbols, postures, and mudra. ...Group activities reflect not only worship but also gratitude to Divinity for life and its expressions of God's Grace." Discovery, p 73-74

"All love arises from God. On the scale of consciousness, Love calibrates at 500, and as it is perfected, it reaches Unconditional Love at 540, which is the level of healing. Healing prayer services thus seek to replace negativity with an energy field of 540 or over..."...to provide a field of healing energy that is capable of accomplishing 'miracles'. " Eye, p. 138

The whole work of H&R is based on Doc's work with a variety of recovery organizations, i.e. Alcoholics Anonymous, ACIM, and Attitudinal Healing Centers. He emphasizes how powerful these alignments are in healing.

From the cover:  "This companion to all lectures is a compendium and dedication to the relief of human suffering in its various expressions. To truly heal is to "make whole" on all levels.

From March 2007 Satsang, second question on track 2

Q:"The past couple of months I have had a really difficult time
focusing. I call it 'spiritual practice ADD' . (...) "Ill set the
intention to do a certain practice and then I don't know what happens
... and then on top of that, there is a lot of level confusion and mind
is using your teachings as like opposites and I've never been so
confused until the passed couple of months.
Doc: "What's causing the confusion, you're doing some type of practice?
Q: "I just can't keep focused. That's the problem. I can't keep
focused.
Doc: "Focused on what?"
Q: "On the practice that I choose."
Doc" Like for instance?"
Q: "Like to watch everything that arises, you know, to watch all the
energies that come up, all the sensations, all the thoughts."
Doc. "It means to non-verbally be aware of them. Maybe what you're
trying to do is identify them. Instead of just being with it. Like
if you stand up in the breeze, you don't have to say the word
'breeze' to yourself or that I'm standing in the breeze. You
understand? It's more to be with the phenomena as they unfold. To be
with the waves as they unfold. Without using the term 'wave' ,
'unfolding', you see? You may be trying to identify it and verbalize
it ... instead of just being with it. The bird just IS with the
wind. It doesn't say 'wind', doesn't say 'I'm flying" . Doesn't say
anything."
Q: "That's what's happening. There is like this narrator..."
Doc: "You can eliminate the narrator. One time I was standing in the
pacific ocean on the beach , I forget where it was, and there was
this really strong wind coming off the ocean - - and up above, this
huge bird was just like this in the wind (Doc put is arms straight
out like a bird, moving slightly back and forth). Just moving like
this and stayed up there minute after minute, half an hour up there,
just not moving at all. Not exerting anything. And the wind is doing
all the work, it just goes with the wind like this (Doc moved back
and forth with his arms straight out, showing what a bird does in the
wind, being moved gently by the wind) (...) Anyway, that's the way
one is. One just IS with it, without necessarily processing anything
on a linear, verbalization basis. (...) Don't identify them. (...)
Just be that way. (...) So that is the contemplative lifestyle is
you are just aware of all that is arises ..without stopping to work
on it, to study it, to work on it.... label it."
Q: "Yes, that is what I've been doing...."
Doc: "Don't do that, you'll end up with "Spiritual ADD" if you do
that!" (laughter)...

I'm wondering if anyone has ideas about how they'd like to communicate and share this journey...I was thinking I would start the chapter threads with a few paragraphs (each submission needs to be within the Veritas limit of 500 words)..and then anyone coming in at any time could find the discussion of the chapter they are on.

All ideas are welcome. :)

Wayne W. Dyer expresses it by saying .... "There is a spiritual solution to every problem, and is the same .... raise awareness.

We know that everything is best for our spiritual progress, the only really important work.

Surrender to the Will of God (loc 850) is the greatest power we can claim

Yes,it is true. I guess that the healing may not manifest on the physical level for all to see, but healing has occurred . In the ultimate sense the physical healing at some point is not an issue.

Giving and receiving are one and the same. This is the spiritual mystery. We give the world what we are and we get a consistent answer. By the will, a human quality of the Spirit influences the quantum field and headed toward the Lord.
Guiding the will to God, we are always healed, although not always visible to ourselves or others.
We realize that we have healed checking that we have become

Diana Comment by Diana on January 4, 2012 at 6:43pm

I suppose we trust that if we continue to do the inner work, and have the intention to surrender the outcome, then we will be healed, or not, depending on other forces, ie. karmic .

Ignacio T. Montell Comment by Ignacio T. Montell on January 4, 2012 at 5:02pm

Passivity is the lack of love. Who loves all life feels any subject as their own. Unconditional love is the cure.
